While I did rent this game, after 2 days with it I went out and purchased it, because in the midst of all the other games I am playing right now Halo:Reach, Splinter Cell:Conviction, Borderlands, and R.U.S.E., a little mindless zombie killing is exactly what the Dr. I would give this game a solid 8.5, but since they don't have that I rounded up to 9. Sometimes the clipping on items and zombies can be a bit wonky, but overall the control isn't a problem. A few times I got too into playing and forgot to save and ended up losing quite a few levels and accomplishment, however redoing the sections made for some good fun. If you auto saved RIGHT before you were to fail a certain part of the story, you would be stuck and unable to go on and have NO choice but to restart the entire story. Bad - The save points and lack of an auto save can be a bit frustrating, although I understand why they weren't included. In new hub defense missions, the coop teamwork skills of the survivors will be tested to the limit - they need to strategically place traps, fences and turrets to fend off oncoming Zombie onslaughts and to protect the humans in these sanctuaries. The combined skills of the group will be sorely needed, since terrible, new and unknown zombie mutations have emerged all over the island.
